Would you like to be a parent?
That may be a strange question to ask now. Of course, most people want to be parents, but they also want to choose when that happens. Sometimes life sends us on a different path at a different time than we expected.
Parenting is not for the faint of heart, but it’s a journey of love and sacrifice. Many women are surprised by the support they receive from an incredible network of community resources. With their help, we believe you are more capable than you think.
Are you ready to parent?
Every woman’s situation is different, and only you know your circumstances and what’s best for you. Here are some questions to ask yourself:
- Do I have support from family, friends, or my partner?
- How will this change my schooling or my career?
- Can I support my child financially?
- Am I too young or immature to parent?
- What resources are available to support me as I raise my child?
While these questions can seem overwhelming, if you want to parent, they’re important ones to consider. We want you to know there are resources and support available to you. Parenting is not impossible with the right support. The decision is yours!
